the company

Who you would be contracting with.

A property signing a season licence is taking on a supplier, not just a product. This page states plainly what that supplier is today.

What is SunDibs as a company?

short answer
SunDibs is a founder-led company building lounger management for hotel, resort and cruise pool decks. It is early stage and says so: the platform is built, SunDibs Pro is patent pending, and the first pilot season is ahead.

There is no large team behind the name and none is claimed. The work is done by the founder, Fredrik Ohlsen, which means a property gets a direct line to the person responsible for the product rather than a support queue.

SunDibs is a patent-pending lounger management platform for hotel pools, resorts and beach clubs. That single difference is what the company exists to build, and it is why the product starts with the claim and the release rather than with a deck plan.

What stage is the product at, and what is protected?

short answer
The guest app, the staff console and the offline gateway are built and tested end to end. No property has completed a full season yet, so nothing on this site is presented as a measured result. SunDibs Pro is patent pending.

Patent pending refers to a filed application covering the Pro marker and the claim model. No grant is claimed, and no protection outside that application is claimed.

There is no launch date for Pro. The patent office gives no commitment on when it will decide, and a date invented around that would be a guess. Easy is software only and is available today to a limited number of founding design partners, so places for the first season are capped and taken one property at a time. A property on Easy can move to Pro later without redrawing anything.

An early property is therefore buying into a first season rather than a track record. The pricing, the commitment terms and the replacement of failed hardware are written to reflect that.

what we hold to

Three commitments that do not change per property.

01

Furniture is tracked, guests are not

No cameras, no pressure pads, no occupancy sensors. The markers sit on the loungers and report on loungers. That is a property of how the system is built rather than a policy a property has to trust.

02

No infrastructure to install

The markers are solar powered, so there is no cabling and no trenching a deck that gets rearranged twice a season. On Pro, a poolside gateway keeps arrival windows running when the property connection drops.

03

A claim that expires on its own

A lounger nobody arrives for is released without anyone having to decide. That is the mechanism the whole product is built around, and it is not negotiable per property.

Who does a property talk to when something goes wrong?

short answer
The founder, directly. There is no tiered support desk to route around, and the response commitment attached to each tier is written into the agreement rather than left to goodwill.

Data handling, retention and security are set out on the trust page, and the commercial terms are set out in the agreement before any invoice is raised.

SunDibs is in its first pilot season. Where this page gives a number, it is either sourced or labelled as a target.
