Privacy

Short version: we track claims, furniture and usage, not identity. There are no cameras, no microphones, no pressure pads, and no biometrics anywhere in the SunDibs system. On Pro, the marker on each lounger reports its position, battery and when the lounger is moved or used. Nothing on the marker knows who is there, and it records no personal data.

What we collect from guests

• The room or cabin number a guest supplies at check-in for a pin.
• The pin history for that stay: pinned, arrived, released, no-show.
• An anonymous device token so a guest can return to their pin from the same browser or phone.
• Optional preferences the guest sets themselves (party size, shade preference).

What we do not collect

• Photos, video, audio, biometrics, or occupancy readings.
• Location outside the pool zone.
• Advertising identifiers or third-party tracking cookies.
• Names, emails, or payment details for pin usage.

How long we keep it

A guest's pin history is deleted 30 days after check-out. Aggregate, non-identifying deck-usage statistics (e.g. “72% occupancy at 11am”) may be retained for capacity planning; these cannot be linked back to any individual.

Who receives it

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the app. Supabase stores the data in the European Union. Stripe handles payments. Mews receives a stay reference only where a property has connected its hotel system. Resend receives an email address and the reminder text, and Twilio receives a phone number and the reminder text, only when a guest asks for a reminder. Neither receives a room number, a surname or a location. The full list with a last updated date is on our trust page.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie to remember your session on the pool map. Analytics and marketing cookies only load after you click accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time, clear your browser storage for sundibs.com to reset.

Intellectual property

The SunDibs Pro systems, adjacency mapping, shade forecasting and offline reconciliation, are patent pending. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim of granted patents.
